New Zealand got off to a good start to the tournament with their first home away win over Australia.
New Zealand got off to a strong start to their T20 World Championship campaign by beating defending champions Australia by 89 runs on Saturday. Devon Conway smashed his undefeated 92 from 58 to give New Zealand a solid 200-3. The Kiwis then put on a disciplined bowing performance to beat the struggling hosts and in 17.1 overs he performed well on the field as he partnered with 111. Tim Southee (3/6) and Mitchell Santner (3/31) each picked 3 wickets.
