China exercises irresponsible: White House

The White House said China's air, sea and land exercises around Taiwan were irresponsible. Meanwhile, the country has announced a halt to its activities with the United States in eight of her areas, including military and climate change.

Soon after, the United Nations expressed concern about the climate negotiations. The organization also said climate change negotiations would not succeed unless China and the United States sat down together.

Despite repeated warnings, US-China relations have been strained over US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.

China conducted unprecedented military exercises around Taiwan. The exercise will be conducted in the air, at sea and on land.

Beijing was so much more. The state imposed sanctions on Pelosi. China's foreign ministry made the announcement on Friday following Ms Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.

In addition to sanctions against Pelosi, China has announced a suspension of activities in a total of eight areas, including military climate talks with the United States.

This was announced by the country's foreign ministry on Friday. Beijing also canceled a meeting with the White House on maritime military security shortly after leaving Japan, the final destination of Pelosi's Asian tour.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed concern over China's withdrawal from climate change talks.

Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres, said on Friday that if China and the United States do not attend the climate conference in Egypt in November, they will not be able to resolve the global climate problem. I warned you that you can't.

The White House said China's response and military exercises in the air, sea and land around Taiwan were irresponsible.

Separately, the US Secretary of State argued that Taiwan's military exercises in connection with its participation in the ASEAN conference were unfair and provocative.

However, China's foreign minister has dismissed his allegations as completely false and false.

"We cannot stand by when China threatens Taiwan and its democracy," Nancy Pelosi said in a Washington Post article.
